A delegation led by the Civil Service Commission Commissioner Mekuria Haile (Dr.) paid a visit to the work activities of the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute. The two institutions have signed an agreement that allows them to work together.
The agreement is aimed at modernizing the commission’s human resource management, service delivery, governmental institutions structure and other works with the help of AI-powered technology.
Engineer Worku Gachena, the Director General of the institute, provided a comprehensive overview of the institute’s activities to the delegates. He emphasized that the institute is actively engaged in conducting research and development projects aimed at harnessing the potential of the sector for the benefit of our country.
Dr. Mekuria Haile, the Commissioner of the Civil Service Commission, expressed gratitude to Engineer Worku Gachena for the warm welcome and informative speech during his visit to the institute. The commissioner emphasized that the agreement between the two organizations will facilitate the integration of artificial intelligence technology into the services provided by the commission, thus streamlining and enhancing the overall process.
The commissioner emphasized that the agreement signed today will empower us to utilize the institution’s data center in order to enhance and streamline the delivery of services to citizens, ensuring a seamless and up-to-date experience.
