The Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute (EAII) hosted the graduation ceremony of the AI Summer Camp 2024, with the presence of His Excellency Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s (Ph.D.).
In his congratulatory message, the Prime Minister highlighted that globally competitive and nationally renowned youth in AI are being fostered. The Prime Minister further emphasized that providing opportunities for the youth to realize and utilize their potential is our responsibility. The Prime Minister also commended the EAII’s efforts in introducing the youth to AI technology.
The Director General of the EAII, Worku Gachena (Ph.D.), advised the students to utilize the knowledge acquired from their training for innovative projects. Furthermore, the Director General encouraged the trainees to uphold the innovative spirit and good conduct they exhibited during the summer camp as they pursue their regular education to ensure their success.
During the event, certificates of recognition were awarded to institutions and stake holders who contributed to the AI Summer Camp 2024.
