The goal of the agreement is to foster cooperation between the two institutions in areas where they can collaborate effectively. This will enable them to conduct joint research, including projects based on artificial observation. Additionally, they will develop training programs and workshops focused on empowering young people in the relevant fields.
Taye Girma (Ph.D) the Deputy Director General of the Artificial Intelligence Institute, stated that the institute is placing a strong emphasis on providing summer training programs for teenagers. The new agreement with STEM Power Ethiopia will help strengthen and expand this existing training initiative, allowing the institute to further build capacity and opportunity in this important area.
Simenew Keskis(Ph.D), the Country Director of STEM Power Ethiopia, explained that his organization works to ensure teenagers have greater access and exposure to science and technology. The partnership established with the Artificial Intelligence Institute will support and further this objective of STEM Power Ethiopia.
